lesson no. 1 - people will always say things to make you go their way, but they never really mean them

lesson no. 2 - you can never really trust people other than your family 

lesson no. 3 - no one can offer you security other than yourself, the rest are just empty promises

lesson no. 4 - you will always find yourself believing and trusting, but always leave room for cynicism

lesson no. 5 - it is a game and the only rule is “play it well”
